We are the latest in an international chain of social groups formed to meet monthly to raise a glass or more to the Lisp family of languages, a chain that began with LispNYC and shares with that great group a common founder, Lisp legend Kenny Tilton, aka His Kennyness. GoMiami will be South Florida's active group for the Go programming language (golang.org). Gophers can expect topic discussions, hack nights, networking events, pair programming, etc. As part of our first meetup, we will be discussing the benefits of Go, standard library, and showing you some code snippets.
